Philosophy

Rodolfo Chieroni, the chef of Cafè di Ripetta, goes out of his way every day to tell enchanting tales through his own special art, much to the delight of his loyal followers.  His innate talent and many years of experimentation have led him to craft dishes that are both innovative and very Italian, pairing unexpected components that lead to exciting new culinary experiences.  His edible tales are, of course, accompanied by a rich and carefully selected wine list. 


Biography
Rodolfo Chieroni was born here in Rome in 1964 and has been the Executive Chef of the Cafè Romano in our Hotel d’Inghilterra since 2001.  He honed his professional skills working in some of Rome’s most celebrated restaurants, like the one at the St. Regis Grand Hotel where he was a Sous Chef and at the Giardino degli Ulivi of the Hotel Cavalieri Hilton. His numerous courses include the prestigious High Institute of Culinary Art in Venice.
