the palazzo in the two-storey medieval tower, the Royal Suite is a veritable kingdom
of luxury and refined privacy with incomparable views over the city and its surrounding
hills and valleys.
From the parlour with its wood-beamed ceiling to the quiet study with its panoramic
views of the world below and the bedroom on an altana, all of the rooms of this
magnificent suite conspire together to create refined and harmonic ambiences graced
with antiques. The walls are covered in precious silk and bathrooms are made with
soft cool marble whose colours are those of the Contrada del Drago, the city neighborhood
that hosts the Grand Hotel Continental.
The Royal Suite Altana measures 65m² over two storeys: the studio-parlour and
the bedroom above. The marble bathroom has both a bathtub and a shower. The suite
can be opened to communicate with a Classic Double room whose door is next to
the one of the Royal Suite, and guarantees absolute privacy. The suite is, of
course, fully equipped with Wi-Fi, PayTV, air conditioning, a mini bar and a safe
for valuables.
