Making your dreams come true

At the very apex of luxury hospitality, and at the service of the client’s every whim. That is the profile of the Royal Demeure manager: respectful of tradition, open to new ideas and ever-conscious of their guests’ satisfaction.

Management of the Royal Demeure Hotel Group

Luigi de Simone Niquesa – Chief Executive Officer
Luigi de Simone Niquesa began his career in tourism at the Hotel d’Inghilterra in Rome, where he became general manager in 1985. Entrepreneurial flair and passion, combined with his studies in the humanities and economics, led him to found the Charming Hotels & Resorts network in 1987 and in 2002 the holding company for the Charming brand, TCL Spa, of which he is President.
In the same year (1987) he had the idea of bringing together in a single collection exclusive hotels in buildings of architectural distinction at the heart of cities exceptional for their artistic and cultural heritage. He remains Managaing Director of Royal Demeure, the name given to this collection in 2000.   Since 1996 he has also held the position of President of IRT, an institute specialised in the marketing and territorial planning of tourism and in consultancy for the hospitality industry. His experience led him to found the Luxman Group in 2005. He is President of the Group, which is made up of companies with a strong core competence in the hotel and property sectors of tourism.
Luigi de Simone Niquesa is a committed promoter of the Italian style in his diverse activities – a synthesis of high quality, culture and and excellence appreciated throughout the world. Formerly a teacher at the economics faculty of Perugia University, he is a member of the Management Council for the Master in Economics and Management of Tourism at the Economics Faculty of La Sapienza University in Rome.
He is the author of numerous publications and speeches on tourism management and is dedicated to professional training. Committed to social responsibility and business ethics, in 2003 he founded the “Human Life Fund – Foundation for human life”, its goal the safeguarding and restoration of humanity. He holds numerous posts at an institutional level, including President of UNICA (the Italian Union of Hotel Chains) and Management Councillor and board member of Federalberghi-Confcommercio, an Italian hotel business association.

Lorenzo Nobile – Managing Director

Lorenzo Nobile began his professional life in the hotel business in the early 1980s at the Hotel d’Inghilterra in Rome, where he gained in-depth experience of  administration and finance.  In 1987 he was one of the founders of the international network  Charming Hotels & Resorts.  As Administrative Officer and later Administrative and Financial Director of The Charming Hotels Spa he was responsible for strategic operations, investment and financial planning and the elaboration of high-value hotel structures.        In this period he was primarily responsible for the selection, acquisition and reconstruction of the Hotel Helvetia & Bristol in Florence, transforming it in to luxury accommodation. He was an active participant in the project that gave birth to Royal Demeure, a chain that brings together hotels of great refinement housed in historic palazzi of great splendour, and has seen it establish a place at the top of the hospitality market.
He is responsible for all aspects of administration, finance and personnel management.  In 2000 came the acquisition and reconstruction of the Grand Hotel Continental in Siena, also destined to become a benchmark property for elite tourism.
In 2004 he became Managing Director with a brief to take charge of the overall management of Royal Demeure, to coordinate the activities of the general managers of the Hotel d’Inghilterra, the Helvetia & Bristol and Grand Hotel Continental, and assume responsibility for strategy and commercial policy.
In 2005, under his control, the management of the hotels came under the umbrella of the new Royal Demeure Spa, and a reorganisation was implemented to facilitate the consolidation and expansion of the chain. In April 2006 he took on the post of Managing Director, with responsibility for the administration, finance and management of the company as a whole, as well as being involved in the operational field and the formation of marketing and commercial strategy.
